KAIROS

At Enception’23, the annual festival, we had this super exciting segment called KAIROS. It’s where individuals pitch out their creative ideas and put them to the test – all happening on the second day of the event.

People from different corners of India participated here to showcase their innovative ideas. This was like the big stage for budding entrepreneurs to get exposure, maybe get some funding or resources, and initiate the success of their ventures and thrive. They pitched some seriously smart solutions for today’s big problems, like saving the planet and making society fairer. In the competition, we had remarkable entrepreneurs showcasing their brilliant solutions to tackle today’s most pressing contemporary issues, from sustainability to social justice. Their unwavering commitment to creating a positive change truly inspired us all.

The panel of judges provided valuable feedback, posed insightful questions, and offered advice to the participants. When it came to the evaluation of these pitches, the criteria were flexible but generally revolved around factors like how ground-breaking the idea was, its potential in the market, how easily it could thrive, team capabilities and whether the business concept was viable or not. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Barpa, an accomplished author, educator, and faculty member at SSCBS, DU, served as a judge, followed by Dr. Jai Krishan Garg, a successful entrepreneur and the brains behind the Star India Foundation, as well as a Delhi State member of Arogya Bharti. Prof.Roopinder Oberoi, the Convener and Founder of the Centre of Innovation and Social Enterprise, and Mr. Shiv Shankar Goel, Secretary & Co-Convener Udhyam Bharat Manch, Delhi State, were also in attendance.

At the end of the event, Team Ride Budys, Argon pencils, and KSP came out on top as the champions, while the rest of the participants got some priceless feedback and support to polish their ideas. Everyone left with a brighter future ahead.
