Unfurling Sociopreneurship

Taking place on the 5th of January 2023, the Centre for Innovation and Social Enterprise at Kirorimal College, Delhi University orchestrated a significant seminar centered around the theme of "Unfurling Sociopreneurship." The intention behind this event was to propel the idea of social entrepreneurship further into the limelight, a notion that often remains distant and unexplored for many individuals.

The fundamental objective of this seminar was to spread awareness about the concept of philanthropy and its crucial role in driving social change. In this regard, the event proved to be remarkably successful, largely due to the invaluable contribution of our distinguished guest, Mr. Raj Bhatt, who serves as the CEO of Elara Capital Plc in London. Through insightful discussions and engaging dialogue, Mr. Bhatt, in conversation with the esteemed moderator and convenor, Prof. Roopinder Oberoi, shared his profound insights and experiences. These interactions served to enlighten the young minds in attendance about the diverse and highly promising opportunities inherent within the realms of social entrepreneurship and philanthropy.

Adding another significant gem to its array of events, the Centre for Innovation and Social Enterprise at Kirorimal College orchestrated an enlightening seminar titled "BREAKTHROUGH" Chapter 1 - STRIVE.

The seminar was adorned with a special theme, "WOMEN IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP," and featured a prominent figure in the entrepreneurial realm, Mrs. Devapriya Khanna, the founder and Director of 212 Degree Brand Lab and Connexous Global, London. The event was thoughtfully scheduled to coincide with National Girl Child Day on January 24th.

The seminar concluded on an empowering note, resonating with the encouragement of women entrepreneurs. This sentiment was further reinforced by the inspiring words of Mrs. Devapriya Khanna, who engaged in a conversation with the moderator and convenor, Roopinder Oberoi.
