Vision Spring Eye Camp
CISE, in collaboration with Vision Spring, organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp , aligning with its mission to empower communities through impactful initiatives. The camp focused on providing essential eye care to students from families with an annual income below five lakhs. Over 100 students received comprehensive eye screenings, and free spectacles were provided to those in need. The initiative was supported by Anshu Taneja, Country Director of Vision Spring, and Prof. Roopinder Oberoi, Convener of CISE, fostering a long-term partnership to enhance healthcare access for underserved communities.
RELIANCE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
CISE, in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation, hosted an informative session on the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship in the Academic Auditorium. The session aimed to assist first-year students from various disciplines in overcoming financial barriers to higher education. Amanpreet Kaur Walia, representing the Reliance Foundation, provided insights into the scholarship’s eligibility criteria and application process. The event not only clarified how the scholarship supports academic growth but also motivated students to plan their future aspirations.
